Context
Fae Farm is a farm sim set in a whimsical world filled with magic.
My Role
I joined the Fae Farm team as the 5th member in early 2021. Soon, the team grew to 40+. I was accountable for the go-to-market strategy, branding, and market testing. Additionally, I was responsible for securing an exclusivity deal with Nintendo for the title.
My go-to-market strategy included game vision and game loop alignment for external stakeholders, product analysis, competitor analysis, positioning, target audience, creative strategy, publishing strategy, paid media strategy, influencer strategy, PR strategy, social media strategy, CRM strategy, and community strategy. This GTM was also paired with financials, market validation, and focus-group testing.
Approach
Double down on being a love letter to the farm sim genre by positioning Fae Farm as a cozy escape in partnership with the experts in cozy gaming: Nintendo.
Results
The go-to-market strategy was set in motion, and Fae Farm successfully launched in September 2023 on Nintendo Switch and PC. Later, it was ported to PlayStation and Xbox.
